How does the training work?

You can train as many of your team as needed, and each staff member can complete a selection of the programmes on offer.

We will work in partnership with you to select the most appropriate Digital Training solutions that meets the needs of your team. The skills development package on offer includes:

  • organisation and individual employee training needs analysis;
  • training must be at a high level (Level 3 and above) and focus on IT/digital technical skills;
  • option for fully accredited units/qualifications and/or bespoke training, as required, and solutions can be delivered at a time and venue to suit the business.
When and where is the training delivered?
Courses will start on set dates throughout the year. However if you wish to train more than ten members of staff at the same time we can deliver a fully-funded, bespoke course at a time suitable to your business.

Classroom based training will be undertaken in the day or the evening, whilst other courses can be completed entirely online or a combination of both.

Are there any entry requirements my staff must meet?
Courses under this funding initiative are based at Level 3 and above, which is equivalent to A levels. In most cases previous experience and knowledge will be required to cope with this level of training. Individual delegates will be assessed by the specialist course tutor on a case by case basis in order to ensure suitability to the course in question.
Does the offer apply to specific industry sectors or job roles?
To qualify for this funding opportunity organisations should have less than 250 staff and be based within Essex. Training can be undertaken by employees from any industry sector where their job role requires a level of digital expertise and there is a business need or requirement to develop their skills further.
How do I apply for my staff to do this training?
