Mixed-Ability Printmaking Course

This six week course is aimed primarily at those who have some experience of printmaking.

Though beginners are also welcome they should be aware that this course is not as structured as the Beginner’s course and runs with students carrying out a range of different processes and techniques. Within that more flexible structure there is both the opportunity for one to one tuition and group demonstrations enabling participants to explore a range of printmaking techniques. During the programme participants are supported to develop personal responses through processes including relief, intaglio and screen printing.

Tutor Profile: Kitty Reford

Kitty trained at Canterbury College of Art, the Royal Academy Painting Schools and Camberwell College of Art. She is primarily a painter & printmaker.  She exhibits regularly and has work in public and private collections. Recent exhibitions include The Masters etching at Bankside, Out of Print South Hill Park, Pushing Print Margate and Bite at the Mall Galleries.  She is part of the LOOP collective of artists working in print, and of 12 Printmakers.
