The Health and Safety Executive charged the Gas Safe Register, as part of their approval for registering gas operatives, with developing the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS).
Under the scheme, individual gas fitting operatives must undergo an assessment of their competence to carry out gas work safely.
The scheme aims to promote consistency in the assessment and verification of a gas fitting operative’s competence to undertake gas work.

OFTEC Assessment
OFTEC has set specific pre-requisite entry requirements for candidates wishing to enter the OFTEC training and assessment processes. The criteria are to ensure that candidates have the required experience and knowledge before being permitted entry to the scheme.
BPEC Plumbing Qualifications
As a BPEC-accredited training and assessment centre, we provide a quality service to all who work within the Building Services Engineering sector.
Our purpose-built facilities allow us to offer a range of short courses for experienced plumbing operatives seeking to expand their industry knowledge and gain additional qualifications to comply with current legislation.
