The BPEC Heat Pump Technology and Domestic Air Source Heat Pump course is designed to give installers the skills and knowledge required to correctly install, commission and maintain air source heat pumps.
Training and assessment is held in our newly opened Net Zero and Renewables Centre where you will have the opportunity to work on the latest technology on real-world working systems.
Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.
This course is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), which certifies, quality assures and provides consumer protection for microgeneration installations and installers. These consist of small scale renewable electricity technologies such as solar PV, biomass, wind, heat pumps and heat products.
