Course Content

The Education and Training Award Level 3 ( Replacement for PTLLS ) includes Understanding Roles and Responsibilities, Planning and Preparing Sessions, Assessment, Micro Teaching Sessions, Design of a Learning Programme and Production of a Learning/Personal Development Journal. This award can either be as a stand alone qualification or in preparation for the Certificate in Education (Further Education and Skills Sector).

Most learning will be carried out in group work sessions, where students will be able to learn from the experience of others and contribute their own views on what constitutes effective learning and teaching.

Entry Requirements

An initial assessment of each candidate will be made to ensure that the level of the scheme is appropriate. Learners should have level 2 literacy skills.
