Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector

Lifelong learning is a broad term which applies to education conducted beyond compulsory education (post-compulsory). Voluntary rather than being mandatory or a requirement, it is therefore completely self-motivated, with the intended goal being to improve and enhance personal or professional development.

Whether new to the sector or looking at up-skilling for the next step in their careers, There are suitable courses for all existing and aspiring educators. Our programmes are well thought of nationally and regionally as evidenced by our exceptionally high employment rates on graduation and, for those that wish it, swift progression into managerial level positions.

For those who wish to teach in the education and training sector, which includes adult education, further and higher education colleges, the Level 5 Certificate in Education and PGCE Post-Compulsory Education is the professional qualification which leads towards the status of Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
