What Will I Learn?

The Fashion Styling and Communication course is designed to help you develop a strong foundation in fashion promotion, styling, and visual communication. You will explore the art of visual storytelling and creative direction, learning how to craft compelling narratives that connect clothing, image, and audience. Through practical workshops, you will gain experience in fashion editorial production, branding, and the creation of mood boards and look books.

Teaching takes place in digital and photography studios, giving you hands-on practice with professional lighting, cameras, and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You will experiment with both studio and location shoots, styling models, sourcing garments, and creating concepts that reflect current industry trends.

Live projects with brands, local businesses, or community organisations provide real-world experience and help you build a professional portfolio. These collaborations develop key employability skills—such as client communication, and teamwork—while building your confidence in presenting ideas and working to deadlines.

By the end of the course, you will have a diverse body of creative work and a clear understanding of potential career paths in fashion styling, art direction, editorial production, brand communication, and related fields.
