Colchester Institute has recently received funding to support employers in the Tendring District in adopting practical AI and digital tools.
Through this funded digital skills project, we offer free, tailored AI support to small and medium-sized businesses, including sole traders and self-employed professionals.
We aim to help local employers confidently utilise new technology without the need for investment or specialist knowledge, saving them time, improving efficiency, and strengthening business performance.
What support is available?
We provide practical, hands-on guidance focused on real business needs, including:
- Using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to support everyday tasks
- Creating content for marketing, websites, and social media
- Using AI to draft emails, reports, and documents
- Understanding how AI can support planning, research, and decision-making and improve productivity
- Safe, responsible, and effective use of AI in the workplace
How is the support delivered?
We can offer training:
- Via Online sessions
- On-site at your workplace
- At Colchester Institute, Colchester Campus.
Sessions are accessible, practical, and relevant – no prior technical experience is required, and delivered in a way that suits your business needs.
