Following our recent Ofsted inspection, we’re enhancing our apprentice progress reviews to better reflect their workplace development. Your input is vital in shaping meaningful reviews that support their journey toward End-Point Assessment.
In response, we are strengthening the structure and intent of our learner progress reviews. To support the upcoming review, we’ve provided a set of reflection prompts. If possible, please share your input in advance to help us focus the discussion. Otherwise, you’re welcome to provide it during the review meeting.
Prompts to reflect on:
Behaviour
- How does the apprentice demonstrate a positive and professional attitude?
- Share an example of how they’ve worked effectively with colleagues or customers.
Knowledge and Skills
- How are they applying knowledge and skills in their day-to-day role?
- What recent activities or projects have showcased their progress?
Empowering Career Growth
- What structured opportunities have you offered to support the apprentice’s personal and professional development, such as in-house training or mentoring?
- What exposure is the apprentice given to different functions or departments to help broaden their understanding of internal career standing of internal career opportunities, and how will this contribute to their overall professional growth and development?
Future Development
- Any concerns or support needs.
- Which key area of knowledge, practical skill, or professional behaviour should the apprentice focus on developing or applying more confidently in their role?
Your feedback ensures training stays relevant, effective, and aligned with real workplace expectations.
