Harry Scarfe, a Content Creation and Social Media student at Colchester Institute’s Braintree Campus, has celebrated an impressive achievement after being named Best Young Content Creator at the 2025 Football Content Awards.
The ceremony took place on Thursday 20th November at Elland Road, home of Leeds United Football Club. The night brought together some of the biggest names in football media, recognising outstanding creators from across the UK. Well-known figures such as Martin Tyler, Mark Goldbridge, and Cal the Dragon were in attendance, along with representatives from major outlets including Sky, BBC and The Athletic.
At just 16 years old, Harry took home one of the evening’s most prestigious awards, which was decided by public vote.
Harry said, “I am extremely grateful for all the votes and support. This was my third time attending, so third time lucky! Thank you to everyone who views my content and allows me to do what I love. I’d also like to thank my tutors at Colchester Institute, who have been super supportive.”
For Harry, this award is particularly special. Alongside creating football content, he is passionate about providing a platform for underrepresented voices within the sport. As an autistic person and a strong advocate for autism awareness, Harry aims to give people with disabilities greater visibility and equal opportunities within football media.
