Pathway 1: Bricklaying, Plastering, and Painting and Decorating Pathway

Programme dates: 09/01/2023 – 17/02/2023, 9am – 4.30pm

Sign up day at the Department for Work and Pensions on Tuesday 13th December from 10am until 4pm.

An example of what you could learn:

  • Basic trowel techniques
  • Laying mortar joints
  • Laying bricks and blocks to a line
  • Gauged mortar and plaster mixing
  • Cutting and fixing plasterboard
  • Applying render and plaster skin coats
  • Removal of paint coatings from surfaces
  • Applying paint materials to surfaces
Pathway 2: Tiling, Kitchen Fitting, and Plumbing Pathway

Programme dates: 20/02/2023 – 31/03/2023, 9am – 4.30pm
