Combined Level 3 Certificate (C&G 2391-52 – The C&G 2391 is back!

This inspection & testing course has been re-introduced to replace the C&G 2394/95 combined course package.

What’s changed?

Until September 2017 most candidates would take the combined 2394/2395 course which required 1 online exam, 2 practical assessments and 2 written closed book exams.

The new qualification only requires 1 online multiple choice exam, 1 written assignment and 1 practical assessment.

I didn’t know that!

A combined inspection and testing qualification covering initial and periodic inspection and testing is required in order to gain your JIB grading as an approved electrician.

What’s available?

There are initial (2391-50) and periodic (2391-51) qualifications available but you can save time and money with the combined 2391-52 course.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be over 18 and be up to date with industry requirements. You should be working in the electrical industry and involved with the inspection and testing process. It is essential you have a good up to date understanding of BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations.

Combined Level 3 Certificate City & Guilds 2391-52

The Combined Level 3 Certificate in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (C&G 239-50) and Periodic Inspection, Testing and Reporting of Electrical Installations (C&G 2391-51) award is ideal for qualified electricians wishing to update their knowledge of electrical installation techniques. Level 3 is ideal if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. You want to update your knowledge of techniques and legislation. The 2391-52 qualification will be required in order to gain your JIB grading as an approved electrician.

The combined Level 3 Certificate in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations and Periodic Inspection, Testing and Reporting of Electrical Installations ( C&G 2391-52 ) Award can also be taken as separate qualifications.
