The Award for Personal Licence Holders is a one day course ideal for those who want to develop a career within a restaurant or bar establishment. The BIIAB Personal Licence Holders qualification is also a requirement of the Licensing Act 2003 if you apply for a personal licence. It covers a wide range of topics including the roles, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities within the framework of the licensing objectives, and the role and legal responsibilities of the personal licence holder.
The sessions will be delivered in interactive modules with practice papers taken during the day. A handbook supporting the qualification and all the information needed for the examination will be sent prior to the date. The examination is a short online multiple-choice paper in English only on the same day.
