Student Resources and Facilities

We are continually working to improve our resources to help you with your studies. These resources are available at The College at Braintree and the Colchester Campus and are open to all students.

Childcare / Nursery

The Colchester Campus has a specially equipped nursery with a team of fully-qualified staff. It is open during term time, Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm.

It cares for up to 24 children aged two and a half to five years and is registered with OFSTED and the Government Childcare Funding Scheme.

Information Technology Facilities

Colchester Institute has an extensive modern computer network with almost 800 computers available for student use...

The library carries a stock of over 100,000 items including books, videos, audio cassettes, records, compact discs, DVDs, music scores, on-line services and CD-ROM. There are also over 500 current journal titles available as well as cuttings files and reference material to help with assignment work.
