University Centre Colchester | Construction

The construction industry is expanding with a global demand for housing fuelling a rise in construction-related vacancies. New technologies are paving the way for construction graduates to lead the industry into the future.

As a construction student, you will have access to expert tutors, who have retained their key links with regional construction companies. You will develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of topics such as; construction processes,
management skills, planning, building technology, design, law, economics, environmental and sustainability issues.

The suite of qualifications on offer cater for both academic achievement and professional development, either by completing a full qualification or bite-sized modules. The degree can also be studied as an apprenticeship programme.

Reasons to study with us:

  • Degree accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
  • Degree and CertHE validated by University of East Anglia (UEA)
  • Smaller class sizes allowing for individual support
  • The degree is available as part-time study over four years or as an apprenticeship programme
I went to a few open days before deciding on which college to pick. Twenty minutes after talking to a tutor I knew I’d made the right choice.
