Head of Academic Services
Chris Mills studied BA (Hons) Sport & Leisure Management at Staffordshire University and holds a PG Certificate in Business Administration. He has worked in Higher Education since 2007 and has an extensive understanding of undergraduate student experience, student support and quality assurance sector regulatory requirements. Chris is currently Head of University Centre Colchester Academic Services and is always happy to meet and discuss University Centre Colchester with any future, current or past student. Tracy Blair
Senior Academic Services Officer
Tracy Blair has extensive experience in both management and higher education and has worked in University Centre Colchester since its inception in 2005. Tracy is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the office, including the line management of the Academic Services Officers.
Tracy is always happy to meet with any current student regarding concerns or queries whilst studying on programme, including but not limited to, extenuating circumstances and hardship loans.

Diane Whant
Academic Services Officer
Diane Whant has extensive administration and management experience working within industry and the education sector. She returned to University Centre Colchester in May 2015. Ailsa Clarke
University Centre Colchester Administrator
Ailsa Clarke studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at Bath Spa University and MA Art, Design and the Book at University Centre Colchester. She has worked in Arts and Heritage sector before joining University Centre Colchester in 2013. Ailsa is the University Centre Colchester Academic Services Administrator for the School of Art and School of Music, Media and Performing Arts. Natasha Sayers
Academic Services Officer
Natasha Sayers studied BSc (Hons) Textiles and Apparel at De Montfort University. She has been working at Colchester Institute/University Centre Colchester since December 1999, when she joined as a temporary member of staff. Natasha is an Academic Services Officer, which includes the administration of appeals, exam boards, degree certification and assessment instruments amongst other quality and academic standards processes. Helen Shaw
University Centre Colchester Student Experience Officer
Helen Shaw studied BA (Hons) Media and Cultural Studies at Lancaster University. She holds an NVQ level 4 in Information, Advice & Guidance and a Certificate in Education & Training from University of Central Lancashire. She joined University Centre Colchester in February 2020 as the Student Experience Officer, responsible for the University Centre Colchester admissions process and the engagement of students to enhance the University Centre Colchester student experience.
