Colchester Institute celebrated the graduation of over 400 students this year with ceremonies taking place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October.

The prestigious event boasted a new format and a new home, with the Graduation ceremonies taking place in the Moot Hall, at Colchester Town Hall. This new and prestigious venue saw hundreds of students celebrating their success with friends, family and staff. The College also welcomed an array of special guests including the presenting guests Richard Bourne, Chairman of Colchester University NHS Trust and Dee Evans, Artistic Director and Chief Executive of the Mercury Theatre. Both gave inspiring speeches to the students.

Following the Ceremony, Graduates and their guests spilled out onto the streets of Colchester and made their way to The Minories art gallery (home to the Colchester Institute’s postgraduate Art and Design programmes) for canapés and drinks.
