University Centre Colchester works swiftly to support all students who are experiencing any safeguarding concerns. We want all of our students to feel safe and encourage any students to come forward with concerns so they can be supported and listened to.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable and supportive education environment where our students can thrive not just academically but personally. We are committed to staff training on safeguarding topics including sexual misconduct and sexual harassment to ensure our workforce are aware of and can support our students with any concerns. We have a dedicated Welfare and Safeguarding Team that work directly with students once safeguarding concerns are reported and good links to external support services.
University Centre Colchester works within condition E6 as set out by the Office for Students (OfS). More information on condition E6 can be found here
