Accommodation

For Students seeking accommodation in the Colchester area for the academic year 2010/2011, Colchester Institute is offering the following options on a limited basis:

Halls of residence at 'University Quays' University of Essex campus, Colchester:

• Rooms are only available to first year HE students on a limited basis. Rent £96.11 per week. Please note there are no parking facilities for students.

Rooms in student house shares available from accredited private sector:

• From £250 per calendar month + utility bills. A deposit of one month’s rent is required in advance and the signing of a tenancy agreement.

Private home (self-catering accommodation)

• The accommodation provider allows the student full use of the kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. From £67-75 per week including bills.
• A deposit of two weeks is normally required in advance.

Home stay (full board accommodation)

• The accommodation provider gives the students breakfast and a cooked evening meal, with lunches at weekends. Laundry is normally included. From £110 per week.
• A deposit of two weeks rent is normally required in advance.
