Further Education (Course levels 0-3)

Further Education Fees Policy 2009/10

The fees quoted on this website are generally those applicable to the first year of a programme and are for one academic year, unless the course is for shorter duration. Please note that where a course runs for two or more years, you will need to pay a course fee for each year.

Full-time students who are 19 years of age and over will be expected to pay a fee between £970 and £1460 for one year. This includes charges for award body fees or examinations which are an integral part to the course. Where there is difficulty with this, it may be possible to obtain help through the Learner Support Fund. Applications should be made to Student Services Tel: (01206) 712293. Higher fees are payable where the circumstances are such that "home" fee rates do not apply, for example, students from outside the European Union.

Home fee status students under 19 years of age on 31st August in their year of entry to their programme of study do not generally pay tuition fees. There are, in some circumstances, other fees associated with the course, some of which are included at enrolment.

The Learner Support Fund is available to assist students who are experiencing financial difficulties. Students over 16 years of age (except overseas cannot apply), are eligible to apply for the fund.
