New student accommodation offering excellent facilities and comfort. Rooms are allocated alongside Essex University students where you will have the chance to exchange experiences and mix with the students from all other courses. The village is situated approximately 3 miles from the Colchester Institute.
Rooms are furnished with ¾ beds with storage underneath (however the 1 bed flat and double studios offer double beds), desk and a desk chair, plenty of drawer space and a wardrobe with additional storage space on top. All rooms have a modern en-suite. Bike storage is available and there is parking on-site for £5 per week.
The cluster kitchens include a modern fitted kitchen complete with a combi-oven, microwave, hob and fridge-freezer. The studio rooms and 1 bed flat have their own personal kitchen including a micro-oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a 2 ring hob.
All bills are included, high speed broadband and Wi-Fi facilities will be provided in all rooms and communal areas.
Avon Way House offers purpose built accommodation just a short walk from the University of Essex’s main Colchester campus. You can choose from brand new modern studios with a private en-suite bathroom and kitchenette or bright and airy bedrooms, all finished to the highest standards.
The Hub, is at the heart of Avon Way, where residents can come together to socialise, relax and make those priceless university memories. It will include a lounge with comfortable chill out areas, large TV, vending machine and ping pong tables. Helping to create the ideal environment for studying, there will be shared study spaces with break-out and quiet study areas. But we realise it is not all work work work, so we will provide gym studio facilities and a cinema room.
We have carefully designed our accomodation at Avon Way to suit the way students live today. We know that means constant access to tech so we guarantee high-speed wifi, as well as plenty of sockets and USB ports in study areas. And for some well deserved down time, residents can enjoy spending time outdoors in the communal gardens and there are shared kitchens to cook and eat in.
Our welcoming and friendly staff members are always on site to offer a helping hand when needed and make sure that everything is well maintained, safe and secure. And when you want to get out and about, the nearby bus stops make heading into Colchester town centre a breeze.
Prices range from £105pw to £181pw. All tenancy agreements cover 48 weeks and start from September. Avon Way accommodation is situated approximately 3 miles from the college campus.
The Forest Road House complex provides purpose built Student Accommodation for students. Located to the East of Colchester town centre it is approximately 1 mile from the Essex University campus and about 3 miles from the Colchester Institute.
Forest Road House was built by the University of Essex but now it is a privately managed residence.The accommodation comprises of 124 rooms within 2 blocks of 3 storey flats. 2 Single rooms and 2 Double rooms within each block have an en-suite facility. The complex provides a friendly and secure environment to live.
The rent will be charged at £340.00-£480.00 per calendar month depending on room type, payable one term in advance on 11 months contract. The frequent communal area cleaning and Wi-Fi is included in the price. There is no deposit but an administration fee of £120.00 is payable at the start of the tenancy.
