IT Services message for Staff and Students – Updated 5.30pm Friday 22nd May 2020
Colchester Institute IT Network is currently experiencing a connectivity issue which is affecting both VDI and Email Services and these are currently unavailable.
JISC main connection is currently down and engineers are working with JISC to bring connection back online.
Further updates on this issue will be announced on our ILT support portal located here: colchesterinstitute.freshservice.com
To access the VDI please follow these steps.
Re-open the Horizon desktop application on your machine or phone, then click the new server button, then type in this address brt-horizon.colchester.ac.uk
You can then login like normal using your college username and password. Please use this server to access the VDI until normal service resumes.
The issue does not affect access to Moodle, GSuite, Zoom and Panopto.
