This course covers the key stages of recruitment from identifying a vacancy through to inducting the successful candidate. In order to ensure that the right people are recruited to the right jobs, it is essential to employ effective selection procedures when aiming to recruit for a position or role within an organisation. Recruitment is the process of identifying an organisational need to employ someone for a vacancy or role, up to the point where applications for the post have been submitted to the business. Selection then consists of the processes that are involved in choosing a suitable candidate from the applicants in order to to fill the post.
