Quality Technician Training Programme

This is a training programme built up over a number of elements, which ultimately enables an individual to understand what is expected of them in the role of Quality Technician in any company.

Course Introduction

This programme is intended to give a thorough grounding and training in the discipline of ‘Quality’, both ‘Qualitative’ and ‘Quantitative’ for a position of ‘Quality Technician’. It is intended that the training be the basis of attaining a Quality Technician role.

Reference material to be used throughout the training programme is:
• A Practical Approach to Quality Control by Caplen
• A Company QMS
• Specific reference data produced by P Wiggins

Training sessions will be held and printed information sheets produced, for each subject area listed in the programme. A test shall be carried out at the end of each subject and work taken away for completion by the next training session.

  • Statistical Sampling
  • The role of a Quality Technician

About the tutor

This programme has been developed by Peter Wiggins of PW-Technical Support, and is intended to be presented to likely candidates nominated by a company.

Peter has over 30 years experience across a number of prominent industries, being in senior Quality Professional roles during that time.
