NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography

The NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography is aimed at qualified and GDC registered Dental Nurses.

About the course

Qualifying with the NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography means that you will become an IR(ME)R operator who can take intra-oral and extra oral x-rays of patients as instructed by a clinician. The additional skills you gain along with the knowledge learnt will enhance your CV and bring benefits to your employer and patients.

Possessing this qualification permits you to work as instructed but autonomously, thus enabling you to interact with patients very differently to chair-side assisting. Of course, you will work within the current legislation attracted to the practice of radiography, providing a sense of responsibility and job satisfaction as well as career progression.

The curriculum has been developed and approved by the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology (BSDMFR) making it an educationally robust and rewarding post-registration qualification.

What Can I Do Next?
