This 10 week course is aimed at the mature student, hobbyist or tradesman wanting to obtain practical skills in motorcycle repair. Delivery is via demonstrations and practical assignments in the workshop.
The course syllabus is designed around the needs of the learners.
Most of the work is completed on college bikes and loose engines but in the past learners have completed some tasks on their own bikes.
Possible subject areas include – Supervised service and maintenance, suspension, steering, brakes, wheels & tyres, engines, cooling system, fuel system, ignition system, transmission system and electrical.
*This course is not available to learners under 18.
As these programmes are not government funded additional learning support cannot be provided
