This course is taught through fun challenges, theory and practical workshops, individual and group discussion, handouts and demonstrations. It is aimed at aspiring designers who might be looking to reshape, restyle and enhance their home environment and those who simply want to improve their design skills and knowledge.

This is a combined theory and practical design course aimed to introduce you to interior design processes to unlock creativity and flair. The course supports you to problem solve your way through a space by exploring interior design elements such as colour, moods, materials and focal features.

Early on in the course you will be introduced to research techniques, space planning methods and surveying skills, working with large and small scales to help you visualise your own design ideas. You will learn how to present a design scheme through a mood board and how to communicate your ideas through drawing techniques, materials and paint colour.
