This is a combined theory and practical course which will introduce participants to key design processes and offer them the opportunity to develop their practical skills and knowledge. Early on in the programme you will be introduced to research and planning methods that will help you to visualise your ideas through mood boards and drawing.
You will be supported to develop your making skills through a variety of practical workshops exploring processes such as decorative paint techniques, upcycling, mosaics and stencilling.
The course is taught through fun challenges, theory and practical workshops, individual and group discussion, handouts and demonstrations. It is aimed at aspiring designers who might be looking to reshape, restyle and enhance their home environment and those who simply want to improve their design skills and knowledge.
