Confined Spaces Awareness

A number of people are killed or seriously injured in the UK each year in confined spaces. These occur across a wide range of industries, which includes those involving complex plant through to simple storage vessels. A confined space is a place which is substantially enclosed (though not always entirely), and where serious injury can occur from hazardous substances or conditions within the space or nearby (e.g. lack of oxygen).

Who is this course aimed at?

Business owners, managers, property / facility managers maintenance engineers. Under domestic law (the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974) employers are responsible for ensuring the safety of their employees and others. This responsibility is reinforced by regulations.

Seminar, delegate interaction question and answers. If on site a practical risk assessment can be included.
