The Construction Options and Civil Engineering (Groundworks) Level 2 Apprenticeship will help to attract and develop talent into the industry, preparing the groundwork for learners to move into a range of civil engineering occupations and provide progression to supervisory and management level in order to provide the sector with a well trained productive workforce.
Construction Operatives work on a construction site or in a public place, to given specifications, laying drainage, placing street iron works, structural concreting, laying pavements and excavating holes and trenches.
Starting employment as an apprentice can occur throughout the year however the start-date for attending college for training, where required, might vary depending on the type of apprenticeship and will be communicated post-employment and sign-up.
