Godspell the Musical: We can build a Beautiful City.

In the not too distant future a community of like minded followers are drawn together by the love of Jesus Christ and are called to the teaching of the Lord to rebuild a fractious and divided ‘city’ that’s seemingly draining the natural resources of the earth.

Through the retelling of the book of Matthew we see a community form and bind with the love of God to be called to action to save the people from despair.

Come join us in watching a celebration in life, love and belonging through a contemporary lens including all the classic musical numbers featuring ‘Day by Day’ & ‘We Beseech Thee.’

Musical Theatre Summer Showcase: Join us for an evening of current and traditional musical theatre numbers. Accompanied by a live band, our degree students present a varied programme of song and dance to celebrate the work developed throughout the year.

CIDCO: Expect the Unexpected: Colchester Institute Dance Company are very excited to be returning to the Swinburne Hall this May! The show has been directed and produced by third year students from the University Centre Colchester Musical Theatre degree course. This year’s high energy production ‘Expect the Unexpected’ showcases a variety of dance styles which include Commercial, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre and lots more!
