Performing Arts students present Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing
Performing Arts students will present William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at The College at Braintree, Church Lane Campus, on Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th February 2012.
The requiting of love and how this may be achieved is a hot topic for any era. Written around 1598, Much Ado About Nothing is as relevant today as it ever was, in its exploration of relationships and how love blooms. One couple wants to marry but is there infidelity? Bickering and bantering conceal the desires of another. Bitterness and treachery in one man threatens to bring down a noble house and destroy a perfect pairing.
With a traditional flavour, Performing Arts students at The College at Braintree bring Shakespeare’s delicious, dark comedy to life in this beautiful production. Look forward to high energy and exciting performances throughout!
The production will take place in the main hall, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 (adults) and £6 (concessions). For more information email alison.byrne@colchester.ac.uk, or telephone (01206) 814027.
