With the set becoming more than a little 'Floyd' heavy and with all the guys being huge Floyd fans, it was time to move away from the Racketeers and concentrate on putting together a 'Floyd' show and so 'A Saucerful of Floyd' was born! The band’s sell-out debut at Suffolk’s 'The Riverside Club' in Nov 2007 was a followed up by performances at QJam and Kesgrave Festival. The bands members have an illustrious and diverse history in the music business - in 1993 Stevie toured as front man of the re-formed Sensational Alex Harvey Band and recorded the 'Live in Glasgow '93' album. With the band gaining recognition, the rising talent of Saxophonist Jane Elston has enhanced the line-up – Jane is a graduate of the Centre for Music & Performing Arts who has previously been seen on Swinburne Hall’s stage with popular local band The Slicknotes. High quality musicians, a full scale production with lighting and the music of legends guarantees this show is not to be missed.
