If you’re aged 16-18 years old and haven’t yet found work or got onto a training course, what about trying Foundation Learning – Skills to Succeed. This FREE learning programme at Colchester Institute can help you work out how to move forward into earning, learning, or a combination of both! Skills to Succeed Foundation Learning

  • Three day, 17 week programme delivered at Braintree, Clacton, Colchester and Dovercourt campuses.
  • Gain qualifications in Functional Maths, English and ICT, Employability and Personal Development from Entry 3 to Level 2.
  • Training sessions in Health and Safety, Basic Food Hygiene and First Aid.
  • Help with career planning, apprenticeship applications, job search and applying for further training.
  • Life skills, confidence building, health awareness and involvement with lots of external agencies.
  • Opportunity for taster sessions in vocational areas at Colchester Institute.
