Course Description:
This course is aimed at artists wanting to use Photoshop more effectively for their artwork and the recording and distributing of that work. Beginner and intermediate users will be taken through the use of Photoshop from the basics to advanced editing techniques. Digital photography, colour printing, scanning and the optimisation of images for emailing and web publishing will also be covered. The course covers both theory and practical aspects. Participants are expected to work in between sessions and so it is highly recommended that they have access to Photoshop and a digital camera. Email support will be given during the period of the course. Course notes and sample images will be supplied.
Entry Requirements:
An interest in manipulating digital images.
