Course Description:
Working with basic pattern cutting techniques this course will introduce skills for professional pattern cutting, enabling students to develop their own patterns from a range of basic blocks. The course will include demonstrations of equipment along with the development of drafts and sample patterns and an introduction to relevant techniques such as dart manipulation, and slashing and spreading.

An interest in textiles.
