Course Objectives/Key Benefits:
To develop an individual’s knowledge of the safety requirements, MMA welding technology and the practical application of the Manual Metal-Arc welding process.
Who the Course is Aimed at:
Skilled or semi skilled welders involved in production or maintenance work requiring an introduction or industrial updating of the M.M.A process.
Course Content:
- Safety as applied to manual metal arc welding equipment
- Basic principles of the manual metal arc welding process
- Correct storage and selection of welding consumables
- Welds to be completed on steel, thickness ranging from 3mm-20mm plate as appropriate to delegates requirements
Entry Requirements:
At the discretion of the course tutor, however we strongly recommend attendance at one of our assessment days

Classroom theory and practical workshop sessions
