Course Description:

Based on the IEE’s Code of Practice for in-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment in association with City and Guilds

Course Objectives/Key Benefits:

On completion delegates will be able to undertake and record inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

Who the Course is Aimed at:

Those who carry out inspection and testing of in-service electrical equipment and have workplace experience in inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances.

Entry Requirements:

Familiarity with the ‘Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment’ – pre-course reading is recommended. Attendance on Practical Portable Appliance Testing course or the ability to prove knowledge of how to use portable appliance test instruments or hold C&G 2360 Part 2/2330 Level 3

Seminar, practical ‘hands on’ exercise, one hour multiple choice assessment
