Level 2/3 Certificate in Patisserie and Confectionery
Course Description:
The course is suitable for those wishing to develop patisserie skills to a professional standard. Although some theory is included the emphasis is on practical learning. The units taught include Hot, Cold and Frozen Desserts, Confectionery, Fermented Goods and Pastes.
Ongoing practical assessments with internal and external moderation.
NB: It should be noted that the Levels 2 and 3 are delivered in
alternate years.
Level 3 will run 2010/11 and 2012/13. Level 2 runs 2011/12 and 2013/14.
Entry Requirements:
No formal entry requirements for Level 2. Level 2 qualification or equivalent for Level 3.
