Level 2 Diploma in Food Service
Course Description:
This programme is for those that wish to obtain a qualification in restaurant service. Modules include the Preparation of Areas for Table Service, the Provision of Silver Service and Table Drink Services, Preparation and Service of Bottled Wine, and Dealing with Payments. Theory and practical work centres around the College's public restaurants, but evidence can also be gained in the workplace.
Activities are mainly practical with personal study packages and traditional classroom activity. Continuous assessment enables students to progress at their own pace.
Entry Requirements:
Experience in a catering establishment is preferred.
