Trinity College Certificate Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) - Level 5 Intensive
Course Description:
Distance tasks prepare students in some of the basics of English Grammar, Phonology and Lexis prior to commencement. The eight week intensive course also covers lesson planning, methodology and materials production.
All students are required to observe and teach English classes at two or more levels and produce a student profile.
Learning is via lectures, workshops, seminars and teaching practice. A number of practical assignments will be set. Assessment will be through portfolio and an exam. To meet the course requirements we do not recommend working while studying.
Entry Requirements:
Graduate level or equivalent. No teaching experience required but applicants must be able to demonstrate a good standard of written and spoken English.
