English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

Course Description:
General English classes include all language elements speaking, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary development and learning to use English to communicate successfully with others. Many students take internationally-recognised Cambridge examinations (First Certificate, CAE, CPE, IELTS and Business English) in June or December. There are opportunities for trips and visits to places of interest.
Students learn new language through communicative activities which are practical and relevant to the students’ needs.

Entry Requirements:
No formal qualifications. Language is assessed on arrival through a simple test to place you in the most appropriate level.
Career Opportunities:
These qualifications are recognised by most employers, colleges and universities in the UK, so will help provide increased career opportunities.
Course Progression:
A variety of further and higher education qualifications, including progression onto university degree courses on successful completion of IELTS.
