Course Description:
An intensive course designed to produce craftpersons capable of employment in industry. This modular scheme develops practical skills and theoretical knowledge to a level that suits the individuals needs. The mandatory units are Metal-Arc Gas Shielded, Tungsten-Arc Gas Shielded, Manual Metal-Arc, Engineering Drawing, Fabrication, Materials and Related Studies.
Class-led activities include theory, practical tasks and demonstrations.
Entry Requirements:
For the day time programme it is expected that individuals will be employed in the welding or fabrication industry.
