Higher Education Courses

Courses for students looking to study at degree level and beyond. Programmes are from level 4 and run from Foundation and Bachelor (undergraduate) degrees, through to MAs and postgraduate qualifications.

Further Education Courses

All courses within this section are classed as 'full-time'.  'Further' relates to post-compulsory education, ie: after secondary school.  The programmes are at various levels, from 0 (Pre-Foundation) to level 3 (Equivalent to A Levels)

Part-time Courses

Part-time courses offered by Colchester Institute, including the College at Clacton, these may be daytime or evening programmes.

Apprenticeships are increasingly popular and a fantastic way to start or further your career plans. Colchester Institute Apprenticeship programmes offer young people the opportunity to do just that!

A diverse range of high quality training solutions is offered by the Professional Training Centre (the business arm of Colchester Institute). Subjects covered include business and management, health and safety, gas safety and electrical training.
