Nick Vickers

Nick gained his HND in Musical Instrument Technology (Piano) at Leeds College of Music and has gone on to further his skills with further courses in Brass and Woodwind repair. He is also a well respected sound engineer in many live venues working with such acts as The Blockheads, Martin Grech, Athlete, and Jamelia amongst others.

Jack Jordan

Jack specialises in lighting and sound for events, concerts and productions in the Main Hall, Swinburne Hall, Headgate Theatre, Mercury Studio and other venues in the Colchester area. He also runs Ice Breaker Promotions.

Richard prepares sets, lighting and sound for the many productions in the Main Hall, Swinburne Hall, Headgate Theatre, Mercury Studio and other venues in the Colchester area.

 

 

PIANO TUNER

Toby Peecock

Toby Peecock

Toby can regularly be seen and heard tuning the 30+ pianos, harpsichords and other early music keyboards around Colchester Institute. He is qualified technician and member of the Piano Tuners Association and has been working in Essex and Suffolk since 1983. He combines a traditional tuning background at Newark College with digital technology to ensure a top quality service for our staff and students.
