Productions and Showcases

Dance
As part of the Dance and Musical Theatre course, there are many performance opportunities that take place outside of the curriculum. Most recently, the Musical Theatre second years performed at a dance platform titled ‘Encounters’. This was a regional dance event that consisted of colleges and dance companies showing their work in a professional environment. Some students have also taken part in one day workshops at places such as The Junction, Cambridge and at Laban, working with dance company ‘base dance’ and practitioners from physical theatre company ‘Frantic Assembly’.

Musical Theatre and Acting
As part of the Musical Theatre and Acting courses, students prepare, rehearse and perform in a variety of styles in college and at local theatres such as the Mercury Theatre and the Headgate Theatre. Recent theatre productions have included:
