Courses offered by CMPA

Music and Performing Arts are taught at both Further Education (Extended Diplomas (L3) and First Diplomas (L2) and Higher Education level (three year BA Honours degrees and two year Foundation degrees). We also run an MA in Music for those wishing to progress to postgraduate study.

Every student has the opportunity to specialise in their chosen area of study and perform, evaluate and develop their skills with dedicated professional tutors and lecturers. We host a thriving events series, annual competitions, rock gigs and workshops, film shows, and produce dance and theatre performances that both contribute to students’ courses and are open to the public. Media, music and performing arts are not easy career paths: they can be fiercely competitive and highly demanding but those who have the necessary dedication and talent will find that we can equip them with the skills they will need for lifelong employment.
