Jayne Knowles is a Curriculum Manager for Higher Education with the Centre for Art, Design and Media; she lectures in three dimensional design and craft and has worked at Colchester Institute for 14 years.
Jo Richardson Lecturer, Education, EFL
Jo Richardson, from Wivenhoe, is a full-time lecturer in English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and a teacher trainer in the subject at Colchester Institute. After starting her career with British Telecom as a clerical officer, Jo went on to teach German and French at secondary schools, putting her A Level qualifications in the subjects to good use.

Mark Lloyd, from Colchester, is a lecturer in sport on the Management of Sport programmes at Colchester Institute. He specialises in sports development and coaching at both further and higher education levels.

Peter Wilkinson, from Ipswich, is the Curriculum Manager for Higher Education in the Centre for Computing and Administration, and lectures in computer networking on the BSc (Hons) Computing programmes.

Sue Wills, from Brightlingsea, is the Higher Education programme leader in Childhood Studies and teaches on the Foundation Degree in Early Years and BA (Hons) Early Years at Colchester Institute.
Malcolm Miles Lecturer, Music and Performing Arts
Malcolm Miles lectures in Jazz Studies at Colchester Institute. Following the completion of undergraduate studies at Leeds College of Music and postgraduate studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Malcolm has enjoyed a successful jazz-based career.

Part-time guitar tutor Jim Davies, from Kelvedon, teaches on the Foundation Diploma, National Diploma and BA (Hons) in Popular Music. Jim has had, and continues to have, an impressive career in the music industry.
